Scientific Archive

Pre-AI Scientific Archive Deposit โ€” We are depositing a private collection of scientific and physics reference materials โ€” foundational human knowledge from before the AI era.

AI-generated content is flooding digital networks. Soon, distinguishing authentic human scholarship from synthetic imitations will be nearly impossible. This archive preserves verified human-authored knowledge โ€” a baseline future generations can trust.

Think of it as a Library of Alexandria built to last 1,000 years โ€” preserved in Arctic permafrost, uncontaminated.

Only Eternity.Photos provides two-continent redundancy โ€” Arctic + US mountain vaults.

Eternal Preservation Q&A

Everything you need to know about physical, nondigital immortality for your memories.

We use Computer Output Microfilm (COM) recorders to write your digital photos directly onto archival silver-halide microfiche. This creates physical film that lasts 500+ years, readable with any microfiche reader.

Microfiche is EMP-proof, format-independent, and requires no electricity or specialized software to read. Unlike digital files that become obsolete or corrupted, microfiche remains readable for centuries.

For our US microfiche copies, standard fiche holds 98โ€“270 frames depending on resolution. Our Arctic facility uses proprietary film technology with significantly higher capacity - specialized film can store thousands of high-resolution images per sheet.

Our US microfiche copies use specialized color microfiche that preserves full color accuracy and is rated for 500+ years. Our Arctic facility's proprietary film technology is black and white only - optimized for maximum longevity.

One set in Iron Mountain's Pennsylvania mountain bunker (220 feet underground, Cold War-era nuke-proof vault) and one in our Arctic World Archive (Svalbard permafrost mountain, demilitarized zone).

Yesโ€”both facilities are EMP-proof and nuclear-resistant. Iron Mountain's bunkers were designed for atomic threats, while Svalbard's remote location and depth provide extreme protection.

Climate-controlled at 50โ€“55ยฐF with 25โ€“40% humidity. No light exposure, minimal vibration, and 24/7 security monitoring ensure 1,000+ year preservation.

All uploads use military-grade encryption. Files are processed on isolated systems and permanently deleted after microfiche creation. No digital copies are retained.

You receive unique accession numbers for both vault locations, plus a digital certificate with GPS coordinates, health check schedules, and retrieval instructions.

Absolutelyโ€”you own the microfiche and archival film. We provide legal title documentation. The vaults store your property under contractual agreements.

Contact either vault with your accession numbers. Digital scans are available within 24โ€“72 hours. For urgent needs, we can coordinate same-day microfiche reader access.

We include inheritance clauses in your contract. Heirs receive full access instructions and can continue vault storage. No exit fees for transfers to family members.
